Dal 28 febbraio al 1 marzo, Leonard Nika sarà in Portogallo per un Sup Clinic. Il capitano del team italiano Starboard sarà in giro per l'Europa nel suo tour di Sup Clinic.

PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE

WAVE CLINIC, Saturday Feb 28th 2015, 10 am – 17.30 pm

Part 1

·         Improve wave reading and wave selection

·         Improve your wave-specific paddling technique and take-offs

·         Ride a first Curve

·         Turn in the wave using the body and the paddle

·         1 hour lunch break

Part 2

·         Wave optimization

·         speed and manoeuvres

·         Individual debugging of the style of each Paddler by Leonard Nika

·         Free Surf & Debrief

RACE CLINIC, Sunday March 1stth 2015, 10 am – 17.30 pm

Part 1

·         Optimize body dynamics (and correct postural mistakes)

·         Perfecting paddling technique

·         Improve turns

·         Improve beach starts

·         Choosing the right equipment for racing

·         Preparing training routines

·         How to improve physical performance

Part 2

·         Getting ready on the start line

·         Fist possible start for the Long Distance Race

Note: The location for each event will be announced a few days prior to the weekend. We might change the date of the wave/race clinic according to the weather conditions.

To benefit from this course, participants should have solid basic paddle skills in both flat water and waves. A winter wetsuit is recommended (if you have a 2nd one, bring both to change for the second session. Photos and Video´s of everyone will be taken for your personal use and if possible, to assist Leonard during the debrief. The course language is English.

·        Cancellations up to Feb 20th shall receive a 50% refund

Paris Sup Crossing 2014 un grande risultato per il team international

Il team international quasi al completo per la Paris Sup Crossing 2014, una edizione che sarà ricordata per diverso tempo. Un'affluenza dei migliori tema riders internazionale si è ritrovata presso il salone nautico di Parigi, per un appuntamento esclusivo.

Il tracciato amatoriale ha visto un folto numero di partecipanti, i quali per 11km si sono dovuti sfidare, sfoggiando tecnica e tenacia. Un grande Reza Nasiri ha eccelso nella sua categoria tagliando per primo il traguardo e aggiudicandosi la vetta del podio.

Entrato a far parte del national team da circa un anno Reza è un perfetto pagaiatore. Campione di canoa sta scalando le classifiche come suoi tanti colleghi. Il suo medagliere è ricco di diversi titoli, siamo molto soddisfatti dei suoi risultati.

Il tracciato agonistico ha visto invece circa 14 km, in cui il team italiano e internazionale ha dovuto impegnarsi, per poter destreggiarsi tra i loro competitor. Il team italiano ha visto come rappresentante principale Leonard Nika, Claudio Nika e Riccardo Benettolo. Il team internazionale ha visto nomi come: Leonard Nika, Tytouan Puyo, Gaetan Sene, Roman Frejo, Jinvresse Boris, Langlois Lulu e molti altri.

Il trend della Paris Sup Crossing è sempre in ascesa, circa 400 partecipanti alla partenza. Una gara tecnica e molto sentita in cui vedeva Leonard Nika difendere il titolo vinto nella scorsa edizione.

Partenza separata tra agonisti e amatori, molto suggestiva e come sempre poetica in una città che vanta romaticiscmo ma che si sta affermando anche come leader indiscussa nello sport.

Correnti, back wash e chop generati da pagaiate hanno condito il tracciato redendolo diffcile e molto tecnico. Tyouan Puyo taglia il traguardo per primo seguito dal Vichingo Casper Steinfath e Gaetan Sene. Leonard Nika finisce il quinta posizione e Claudio in diciannovesima.
