starboard sup Hypernut 2016 comparison chart

Thanks to Mostafa Al Hussaini for review.

Introduction:
The HyperNut is all about compact performance. The concept brings a board that is fast, stable and extremely reactive due to its short length that offers insane projection and tight turning from the inverted Nut rails.

The HyperNut is a board that changes the way you ride, forcing you to turn faster and tighter in every maneuver. The full HyperNut range will be available in:
- 6’9”x23
- 6’10”x26.5”
- 7’2”x28”
- 7’4”x30”
- 7’8”x30”
- 8’0”x31.5”
- 8’6”x31.5”

• Short Length - Due to their wide squared off nose and wide swallow tail outline, these boards allow you to ride a shorter length board than possible before, with stability comparable to a longer wider board.

• The wide tail area and straight outline also helps produce the HyperNuts hyper drive and acceleration.

• Nut outline - The unique pulled in outline curve produces faster tighter turning arcs when put on rail. (Rail curve of a smaller board within a longer board). When trimming down the line it also produces rapid acceleration as water rushes around the curve.

• Channel bottom shape Has multiple effects. Down the middle of the board is the tail kicked rocker of a pro board. The channel tail creates a flat spot in front of the fins, which is relative to where your back foot would be when driving down the line. Acceleration a flatter rocker along the tail rail also enhances speed. Maintains the tail kick of pro rocker down thecenter of the board for tight pocket turning.

• Quad fin setup - Matches the wider tail outline further enhancing squirt and acceleration and speed.

• Rail thickness is in line with the pro range to keep sensitivity and responsiveness at their peak.
